Message	it can give you incorrect readings. Best bet is to clip around the 3 wires leading to the #1 coil pack. One way will give you far out readings, flip the pickup around will give you readings around 15*. Even better is to use an old school spark plug lead inbetween the coil pack and #1 spark plug. Then use the inductive pickup lead on the spark plug lead.
